GORHAM, N.H. – The wedding of Kara Ann Lauze and Chad C. Plummer was held on Sept. 24 at Holy Family Church in Gorham, N.H. The Rev. Richard Roberge officiated at the ceremony. Dorish Clinch was organist and Sally Tourangeau was vocalist.

Mrs. Plummer is the daughter of Steven and Brenda Lauze of Gorham, N.H. Mr. Plummer is the son of Wayne Plummer of South China and Lucille Plummer of South China.

The bride wore a strapless satin gown with A-line skirt, crystal beading, a chapel style veil and long satin gloves. The train was medium length with crystal beading and lace. She carried a bouquet of red roses, burnt orange Calla lilies, eucalyptus and berries.

Heidi Gauthier of New York City was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Amy Lafleur of Phoenix, Ariz., Kelly Tiernan of Charlotte, N.C., Alyson Bennett of Rockland, and Jamie Ramsey of Henniker, N.H. Sydni Plummer of South China, niece of the bridegroom, was the flower girl.

Wade Plummer of South China performed the duties of best man and ushers were Ruben Lemelin of Vassalboro, Tim Hamilton of Portland, Nick Plummer of South China, and Chad Lauze of West Palm Beach, Fla.

A reception followed at the Red Jacket Resort in North Conway, N.H., after which the couple traveled to Tahiti. They are residing in Shrewsbury, Mass.

The bride is a graduate of Gorham High School, the University of Maine at Orono and the University of Maryland. She is employed at the UMass Medical Center in Worcester, Mass.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Erskine Academy and the University of Maine at Orono. He is employed at Total Tech Services in Waltham, Mass.
