BUXTON – The wedding of Leisha Marie Weeman and Adam Donald Martin was held at 11:30 a.m. on July 30 at the home of the bride’s parents in Buxton. John Myers, justice of the peace, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Martin is the daughter of Mitchell and Rebecca Weeman of Buxton. Mr. Martin is the son of Donald and Marlene Martin of Lewiston.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Ashley Weeman was honor attendant for her sister and bridesmaids were Christina Martin, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, and Eliza Floyd, friend of the bride.
A friend of the bridegroom, Bryan Belanger, performed the duties of best man and ushers were Brad Martin, brother of the bridegroom, and Travis Pettengill, friend of the bridegroom. Owen Martin, nephew of the bridegroom, was the ring bearer.
A reception followed at the home of the bride’s parents, after which the couple traveled to North Conway, N.H., and the Rangeley Lakes region. They are residing in Lewiston.
The bride is a graduate of Bonny Eagle High School and the University of Southern Maine, Lewiston-Auburn College, with a bachelor’s degree in leadership and organizational studies. She is employed at FPL Energy in Yarmouth.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Lewiston High School and Central Maine Technical College, with an associate degree in machine tool technology. He is employed at Rich Tool and Die in Scarborough.
