1938 – 2014
AUBURN— Gertrude Rena Sullivan, 76, of Auburn, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at the Odd Fellows’ Home.
She was born in Lewiston on May 19, 1938, to parents Elizabeth Mae Gregory and John Edward Gregory.
Gerturde was involved in the foster grandparent’s program, Boys and Girls Club and Cavalier Snowshoe Club. She enjoyed bingo, card games and time with family and friends. She worked for many years at the Supreme Slipper shoe shop.
She is survived by her children, Theresa Piscura, Suzanne Bardier Haynes and husband, Larry, Linda Noddin and husband, Bill, John Sullivan and Anthony Sullivan and wife, Tina; grandchildren, Tyler Noddin, Alicia Noddin, Jessica Deschenes and husband, Keith, Andrew Bardier and Angelo Sullivan; great-grandchildren, Blair Noddin, Zayden, Abrielle, Kyleigh-Ann Bardier and Daxton Deschenes; sister, Thelma Gagnon and husband, Arthur; brothers, Claude Gregory and Kenneth Gregory; sister-in-law, Ruth Gregory; and many nieces, nephews and close family friends.
Gertrude was predeceased by her parents; brothers, John Gregory Jr. and Alfred Gregory; sister, Doris Merrill; and grandson, Christopher Bardier.
The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Odd Fellows’ Home staff for the wonderful care they gave her throughout her time living there.
