FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce will hold a public Legislative Candidate Forum and Breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, in the North Dining Hall at the University of Maine at Farmington.
The chamber has invited gubernatorial candidates as well as candidates for the state Senate and House of Representatives and county races to a question-and-answer forum.
Each candidate will give a five- to 10-minute presentation on his or her platform beliefs, followed by questions from the audience.
Elliott Cutler, candidate for governor, has confirmed his participation in the forum. Most state and local candidates have also confirmed their plan to attend.
The public is invited to attend. A full breakfast will be served, followed by the panel.
The breakfast is free for members of the chamber and a guest; it is $10 for nonmembers.
