AUBURN – The wedding of Joanna Ouellette and Gregg Norton was held at 2 p.m. on June 11 at Sacred Heart Church in Auburn. The Rev. Kevin Martin officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Norton is the daughter of Leo and Nancy Ouellette of Auburn. Mr. Norton is the son of Diane Bourgoin and Gary Norton of Auburn.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a white satin gown and carried a bouquet of red roses.
Attendants for the bride were Deedee Hamilton and Lianna Culleton, her sisters, and Jamie Mercier and Jessie Sawyer, her best friends. Saige Bourgoin, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl.
Ken Thurston was best man for his friend and ushers were Ryan Bourgoin and Jaybe Bourgoin, brothers of the bridegroom, and Ed Norton, uncle of the bridegroom. Gavin Dunlap, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at Lost Valley in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to Aruba. They are residing in Lewiston.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Edward Little High School and received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Endicott College in Beverly, Mass. She is a nurse at Central Maine Medical Center.
The bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of Edward Little High School and a graduate of Lincoln Electric Welding School. He is employed as a welding mechanic at Bath Iron Works.
