AUBURN – Robert and Tamera Grieshaber of Auburn are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Kirsten Grieshaber of Auburn, to Damien Helem of Melbourne, Australia, son of Robert and Ruth Helem of Melbourne, Australia.
Miss Grieshaber received a master’s degree in social development planning from the University College of London, England in 2004.
Mr. Helem is an avid surfer, snowboarder, plays Australian rules football and also plays golf. He is a professional decorator/handyman.
The couple met three years ago in San Sebastian, Spain, and they have been traveling, working and living in continental Europe, London, Canada and the U.S. ever since.
A wedding is planned for Sept. 17 at Saddleback Lake in Rangeley, with a reception to be held at the Saddleback Ski Lodge.
