WILTON — The First Congregational Church of Wilton will begin the new Sunday School season on Sept. 28. The children will have some time in the sanctuary with all of the church members, a youth story given by the minister, then time with their teachers.

Children from tots to fifth grade will have a multi-age group lesson, activities and crafts. All are welcome.

On Sunday, Oct. 5, there will be a “blessing of the backpacks” during the in church portion of the program. Children are encouraged to bring their school backpacks. At 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, there will be “blessing of the animals.” Children can bring their pets.

A Youth Fellowship program for children sixth grade and above will have a Sunday evening program starting in October.
