AUGUSTA (AP) — Gubernatorial candidate Mike Michaud has raised more than $430,000 in the latest filing period.

The Democrat’s campaign said on Tuesday that Michaud has more than $1 million on hand as the three-way race for governor enters its final weeks. Michaud has raised more than $2.4 million since launching his campaign.

Eliot Cutler’s campaign says that it brought in more than $419,000 during the two-month reporting period. Cutler also gave another $100,000 loan to his campaign. The independent has raised more than $2.6 million since his campaign started, including roughly $1.1 million of his own money.

Cutler has about $378,000 cash left in his campaign war chest.

Republican Gov. Paul LePage’s campaign had not filed by Tuesday afternoon. The reports are due to the Maine ethics commission by midnight.
