WINTHROP – Rodger and Cindy Vermette of Whitefield, N.H., formerly of Winthrop, announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie, to James Williams, son of Anita Reynolds and Steven Williams, both of Windsor.
Miss Vermette graduated from Winthrop High School and Central Maine Community College in Auburn with an associate degree in business management. She is a loan service representative at Mechanic Savings Bank in Auburn.
Mr. Williams graduated from Cony High School in Augusta and Central Maine Community College in Auburn with an associate degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed at MPAC in Greene.
A Sept. 17 wedding is planned.
