BELFAST – The wedding of Katie Jane Jackson and Michael Allen Lee was held at 3 p.m. on Nov. 20 at the First Church in Belfast. The Rev. Joel Kregar officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Lee is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Arsenault and Edgar Jackson of Winterport. Mr. Lee is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee of Turner.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a sweetheart gown and carried a bouquet of Calla lilies and other fall flowers.

Rebecca Alspach, best friend of the bride, was matron of honor and bridesmaids were Carrie Arsenault, sister-in-law, and Natasha Jackson, Mindy Loiko and Jan Arsenault, cousins. Sadie Nickerson, cousin, was flower girl.

Daniel Lee, brother of the bridegroom, was best man and ushers were Jeffrey Lee, brother of the bridegroom, and Samuel Francis, Eric Dutra and Matthew Maloney, friends. Samuel Arsenault, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at Ginley Hall in Belfast, after which the couple traveled to Playa Del Carmen in Mexico. They are residing in Winterport.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono with a degree in elementary education. She is a third grade teacher at Carmel Elementary School in Carmel.

The bridegroom received an undergraduate degree in business management from the University of Maine at Orono and then received his degree in business administration in 2004 from the University of Maine at Orono.
