POSITANO, Italy – The wedding of Mary Beeaker and Ethan K. Strimling was held at noon on Sept. 22 in Positano, Italy. The local consular officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of William Beeaker of Turner and Kay King Watson of Livermore Falls. The bridegroom is the son of Arthur Strimling of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Katherine King of Venice, Calif.
Kimberly Burke, best friend, was maid of honor, and Matt Servitto, best friend, was best man.
A reception was held on Oct. 16 in Portland. The couple traveled to Naples, Rome and Florence, Italy, for their honeymoon. They are residing in Portland.
The bride is a 1987 graduate of Livermore Falls High School and a 1992 graduate of the University of Maine with a degree in nursing. She is employed as a nurse at Maine Medical Center.
The bridegroom is a state senator in Portland and is District 8 executive director in Portland.
