LEWISTON — Memorial services honoring the life of Mary E. Belanger were held Thursday, Oct. 16, at Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home, with the Rev. Israel Rodriguez officiating.

During the service, the Rev. Rodriguez sang, “If I Could Hear My Mother Pray”; Mary’s friend, Barry Wood, sang “You’ll Never Walk Alone.” “The Old Rugged Cross” instrumental was played during a time of private prayer.

Words of remembrance were shared by Mary’s good friend, Connie Fletcher; Mary’s “favorite” nephew, Earl Witten Jr.; and Mary’s brother, Paul Witten.

A delegation from the Combat War Veterans Motorcycle Club was in attendance in honor of Mary and they led the funeral procession to Oak Hill Cemetery in Auburn, where graveside committal prayers were recited by the Rev. Rodriguez to conclude services.

Arrangements were by Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home of Lewiston.
