LEWISTON – Raymond and Kathleen Dolyak of Stratford, Conn., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Karen Lynn Dolyak of Bridgeport, Conn., to Kevin Patrick Collins of Bridgeport, Conn., son of Richard and Jane Collins of Lewiston.

Miss Dolyak is a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Trumbull, Conn., and received a bachelor’s degree from Sacred Heart University. She is a preschool teacher at St. Augustine Cathedral School in Bridgeport.

Mr. Collins is a graduate of Lewiston High School and received a bachelor’s degree from Sacred Heart University. He is athletic director, physical education teacher and birthday party coordinator at the Bridgeport Jewish Community Center in Bridgeport.

The wedding will be held on Oct. 7 at St. Mark Church in Stratford, Conn., with a reception to follow at Brownson Country Club in Huntington, Conn.
