AUBURN – Announcement is made of the engagement of Christina Sands and Joshua Perkins, both of Auburn.

Miss Sands is the daughter of Debra Sands of Auburn and Michael Sands of Greene. She is a graduate of Edward Little High School and is employed at Federal Express.

Mr. Perkins is the son of Marge Perkins of Auburn and Samuel Perkins of Greensboro, N.C. He is a graduate of Edward Little High School and is employed at Sam’s Italian Sandwich Shop.

A Sept. 2 wedding will be held at 5 p.m. at Danville Union Church.
