1981 – 2014

MECHANIC FALLS — Kassandra F. Lavoie, 33, of Mechanic Falls, died unexpectedly Thursday, Oct. 23.

She was born June 19, 1981, in New Gloucester and attended Gray-New Gloucester High School.

Casey was a devoted and loving mother and deeply cared for her family. Her passions in life were many but her greatest was for her three children, Mckenzy, 14, Jayden, 5, and Annabelle, 2.

She was enthusiastic about nature, except about snakes, and loved to plant flowers, grow her garden and spend time with her brother, Derek, fishing and catching pollywogs. Casey also loved to create arts and crafts projects with her children, especially scrapbooking, treasures which contain so many great family memories. Her wit, zest for life, and open heart will be forever remembered by those who knew and loved her.

Casey is survived by her mother, Audrey Leavitt; father, Paul J. Lavoie; brother, Derek Lavoie; sisters, Stephanie Grant, Danielle Reed and Alexis Withers; many aunts and uncles; and by her angels, Mckenzy, Jayden and Annabelle.
