Union Veterans Daughters to meet

NORWAY — Hannah F. Richardson Tent 19, Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, 1861-1865, will meet Wednesday, Nov. 5, at the home of Marilyn Jones. There will be a second nomination of officers and a new member will join.

Members met Oct. 29 at the Jones home for first nomination of officers for the new year. Members also brought items for the Togus gift shop. The mystery prize was won by Carlene Gavin.

Ice time for public skating

HEBRON — Public skate ice time for Robinson Arena at Hebron Academy has been announced for the winter season. The rink will be available to the public from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sundays, Nov. 9 through March 8.

?Cost is $3 for adults, $2 for children 12 and under. Children with Maine Winterkids Passports skate free. Bring skates. Parking is available in the athletic center lot off Route 119. ?
