MILFORD, Conn. — Irving “Butch” Holman, 69, of Milford, Conn., died Friday, Oct. 31.

Butch was born in Rumford on Jan. 7, 1945, the son of Ray Holman and Catharine Holman and stepson of Herbert Holt.

Butch was honorably discharged from the military. He enjoyed NASCAR, football and visiting Maine.

He is survived by two sons, Steve of California and Mike of Connecticut; several grandchildren; and brother, Bill Holman of Minnesota.

He was predeceased by his father, Ray; his mother, Catharine; brother, Ray; and stepfather, Herbert Holt.
