‘Robin Hood’ with a twist

King’s Bridge Theatre will present “The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood,” filled with G-rated Monty Python-esque hilarity and all the favorite characters of the infamous legend – and then some. The theater’s fledgling Youth Company will take the stage with its debut performance at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 17, and at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at the Vineyard Auditorium, 12 Foss Road, Lewiston. Tickets are $6, or a family rate of $25 (for up to five family members, with a two adult maximum; each additional child, $3). Call 784-9500 or go online to www.kingsbridgetheatre.org. Tickets may also be purchased at the door. This wild and wacky retelling of “Robin Hood” comes complete with renegade outlaws, an evil sheriff and a pleasantly stubborn Maid Marion, played by Hannah Wardwell of Poland, above. With her is Zach Powell of Lewiston as the egotistical Robin Hood.
