LIVERMORE – Washburn Norlands Living History Center will host its traditional Christmas event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6. Visitors may join singers around the piano for traditional Christmas carols, hear stories and play games from the 1870s, see traditional decorations and visit the one-room schoolhouse.
After that, guests may warm themselves with cups of hot cocoa and cookies before taking a wintery ride in a horse-drawn wagon.
This is also an opportunity for friends of Norlands, old and new, to see how plans for rebuilding the Farmer’s Cottage and barn have developed.
Admission is free.
