Stephens class to meet Monday

RUMFORD — The Stephens High School Class of 1952 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 5, at Gatch’s for the monthly luncheon. All classmates and guests are invited. Call Barbara at 364-3470 so reservations may be made.

Warm Socks for Veterans

RUMFORD — The Rumford American Legion Post 24 is collecting socks for the Warm Feet Campaign to support homeless veterans and their families.

The socks will be delivered to the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1044 in Sanford sometime in March. They will then be distributed to Maine homeless veterans and their families.

The post has a drop box. Call 357-3289 for more information.
