LEEDS — Leonard L. Masse Sr., 64, of Leeds, went home to Heaven on Monday, Dec. 29.
He was the son of Laurier and Lorraine Masse. Lenny worked in the family business, Masse Oil Co., for many years.
He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed fishing with his granddaughter, Ashalen. He enjoyed playing his guitar, writing songs and singing; he made several recordings for family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Maria Masse; two sons, Leonard Masse Jr. and Laurier Masse; and two grandchildren, Ashalen Remington and Leo Masse. Besides his children and grandchildren, Lenny is survived by two brothers, Robert Masse and his wife, Susan, of Lewiston and Donald Masse and his wife, Cynthia, of Bowdoinham; three sisters, Irene Rioux and her husband, Bob, of Lewiston, Suzanne Masse of Turner and Therese Dart and her husband, Al, of Fairbanks, Alaska; and two lifelong friends, Tony Longchamps and Ronnie Rancourt.
Lenny was predeceased by his parents.
