1929 – 2015

AUBURN — Elizabeth M. Flohn, 85, of East Monmouth passed away Sunday, Jan. 4, at Hospice House in Auburn after a short illness.

She was born in Union City, N.J., on Aug. 11, 1929, the daughter of Fred and Kathryn Wagner Hermansky. Elizabeth attended schools in Union City, N.J., and married Paul Flohn in Union City in 1965.

Paul and Elizabeth moved from New Jersey in 1984 into a home on Cobbossee Lake.

Elizabeth enjoyed photography, painting and horses.

She was a housewife and also worked as a secretary for NBC. She was a member of the Union City Christian Science Church.

She is survived by her husband, Paul, of East Monmouth; her brother, Karl Hermansky, of Sunderland, Vt.; a niece, Annie and David Womer of Texas; and a nephew, Drew and Saralynn Flohn of New Jersey.
