1928 – 2015

FARMINGTON — Richard Paine, “Dicky,” 86, a resident of Sandy River Nursing Care Center and formerly of Dixfield, died Saturday morning, Jan. 3.

He was born in Dixfield on May 9, 1928, a son of George and Betsy (McIntire) Paine.

He leaves two nieces and a nephew, Cindy Cormier of Mexico, Crystal Noyes of Peru and Robert Paine of Weld; a special cousin and caregiver, Caroline Smith, of Dixfield; and cousins, Brenda Jarvis, Robert Holt, John Morang, all of Dixfield, and Clifford Stewart of Rumford.

He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Larry and Bartlet Paine; a sister, Janet Paine; and a favorite uncle, Jerry Haley.
