LEWISTON – The murder-mystery dinner theater troupe Mystery for Hire will kick off its fall performance season at Marco’s Restaurant Oct. 4 with “Politics Can Be Murder.”

Other shows will include “Who Killed the Boss?” (in honor of National Bosses Day), Saturday, Oct. 18; a costume party performance of “Spirits of Suspicion,” Saturday, Nov. 1; and horror film awards show spoof “Lights! Camera! Murder,” Saturday, Nov. 15.

Scenes of the mystery are interjected between courses of Marco’s buffet meal, and audience members are asked to help solve the crime by the end of the evening.

Tickets are $36.95 per person, which includes the mystery show, a buffet with three entree selections, and all tax and gratuity. A cash bar is available. Reservations are required. Call 783-0336.
