The Maine dance band and folk trio Ti’ Acadie (meaning “a little Acadia”) will perform from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19,at Buckfield’s town gazebo. Band members are Pam Weeks on fiddle, mountain dulcimer, guitar and vocals; Jim Joseph on button accordion, five-string banjo, mandolin, fiddle, jaw harp, percussion, feet and vocals; and Bill Olson on guitar, bass, vocals and calling. They play a variety of music, including traditional French-Canadian and New England dance tunes. Bring lawn chairs or blankets. Hot dogs, fried dough and drinks will be sold at the concert, or bring a picnic. If it rains, the concert, put on by the Nezinscot Valley Music Boosters, will be held in the Buckfield High School gymnasium.
