1931 – 2015

BRIDGTON — Helen M. Chuzas, 83, of Bridgton and formerly of Rumford and Mexico for many years, died Friday, Jan. 16, at the Bridgton Hospital.

She was born in Rumford on Feb. 9, 1931, the daughter of Anthony and Marcella (Pluskevic) Chuzas, and graduated from Stephens High School in Rumford, Class of 1949.

Helen retired in 1996 from Preti, Flaherty, Beliveau & Pachios, where she worked as a legal secretary for many years. She was also employed in several law firms in Maine, the Maine Employment Security Commission, W.T. Grant Co., and McInnis Insurance Agency.

She was a Communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior Church, and a past matron of Longfellow Chapter No. 61, O. E. S. of South Portland.
