OXFORD — Oxford Recreation Center is holding the following ongoing weekly and monthly events from Jan. 23 through the end of February.

Scrapbooking crop/club with Kathy Perry meets the first and third Monday (Feb. 2 and 16) from 6 to 8 p.m. A $3 fee will include all supplies to do a make-n-take project. She will bring lots of tools and experience for everyone for scrapbooking.

Zumba with Carley Packard meets every Tuesday and Thursday (Jan. 27 and 29, Feb. 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 25 and 26) from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. The fee for each class is $5.

Piloxing with DeeDee Allen meets every Wednesday (Jan. 28 and Feb. 4, 11, 18 and 25) from 6 to 7 p.m. The fee for each class is $5. Piloxing is a combination of Pilates, boxing and dance. It is easy to work at your own pace. No special equipment is needed.

Senior game day, Nickel Bingo, meets every Thursday (Jan. 29 and Feb. 5, 12, 19 and 26) from 9:30 a.m. to noon. The cost is a nickel a game. You win the “kitty” when you get a bingo. This is open to all seniors and retirees. Light refreshments are offered for a minimal donation.

Yoga with Nikki Pierce meets every Thursday (Jan. 29 and Feb. 5, 12, 19, 26) from 6 to 7 p.m. The fee for each class is $5. This is a great way to relax, stretch and tone your body into fitness.

Family Crafts Day is open for free to Oxford residents on the third Sunday of the month. The Feb. 15 event will take place from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. This is open house format so you can come when it is convenient for your schedule. Plan on spending up to an hour or so making cute crafts.
