1932 – 2015
LEWISTON — Patricia E. McCollough, 82, formerly of Knox Street in Rumford, passed away Monday, Jan. 26, at Marshwood Center, following a brief illness.
She was born in Lewiston on Feb. 28, 1932, a daughter of William and Ida (Webb) Walton. Patricia was educated in Lewiston schools and was a graduate of Lewiston High School.
She married her sister Doris’ best man, Raymond J. McCollough, on March 2, 1957, and they celebrated 43 years of marriage; he passed away on Jan. 9, 2000.
Patricia was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior. She was a member of the Snowshoe Club, the American Legion Auxiliary, the VFW and the Bomberettes Bowling League.
She enjoyed playing cards, dancing, spending time at Worthley Pond and sitting by her pool. Patricia loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, Mark S. McCollough of Rumford, Todd M. McCollough and wife, Megan, of Auburn and Kelly O’Neil and husband, Greg, of Berlin, N.H.; a sister, Doris Albert and husband, Anthony, of Lewiston; a brother-in-law, Vance Bacon, of West Paris; eight grandchildren, Christian, Summer, Kenzie, Delaney, Gregory Jr., Dylan, Lauren and Shane; five great-grandchildren, Olivia, Owen, Emma, Alice and Caleb; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Raymond; five sisters and three brothers.
