1935 – 2015

DOVER, N.H. — Barbara Y. Casper, 80, formerly of 303 Reservoir Road, Strafford, N.H., died Sunday, Feb. 8, at Wentworth Douglass Hospital, after a brief illness.

She was born on Jan. 1, 1935, in Burlington, Vt., a daughter of the late Leopold and Irene (LaDue) Yandow. She resided in Strafford, N.H., for the past 15 years, previously living in West Peru and the Florida Keys. Barbara worked at Liberty Mutual for 10 years, enjoyed traveling and knitting, was a member of the Red Hat Society and loved the beach.

Members of her family include sisters, Pauline and Lee Parks of Iowa, Claire and Dale Wing of Robinson and Carol Latulippe of Hollywood, Fla; a brother, Paul and Cheryl Yandow of North Hero, Vt.; sons, Jay and Chris Casper of Rockledge, Fla., Jon Casper and Susan Webster, of Rochester, N.H., and Jim and Lisa Casper of Windham; daughter, Jan and Larry Knights of Wakefield, N.H.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Elaine Yandow and Joan Menard.
