1926 – 2015

AUBURN — Hazel M. Travers, 88, of Lewiston-Auburn for most of her life, died Monday, Feb. 16.

She married Archie Travers Sr. on Jan. 24, 1946; they were married for 65 years, until his death three years ago. She worked at the Bates and Hill mills for most of her working life. Her life revolved around her children and she meant the world to all five of them. We couldn’t have hoped for a nicer mother.

She is survived by five children, Bob, Jeff, Steve, Suzanne and Patrick; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A special thank-you to our brother, Patrick, who took care of mom and dad for many years.
