VSA arts of Maine announces a gala evening of arts events at the Denmark Arts Center on Friday, May 30. The opening reception for VSA’s “Matter of Perception” exhibit will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. That same evening, beginning at 7, students from Molly Ockett Middle School will present short films and stories about four local artists. Light refreshments will be served. This painting is “Herr G. Neus,” an acrylic on masonite, by Judy Grace of Bath. The Denmark Arts Center is at 50 West Main St., Route 160, in Denmark Village.
