1924 – 2015
AUBURN — Evelyn Irish, 90, of Bancroft, died on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at the Auburn Hospice House. She was the wife of the late Donald Irish.
Evelyn was born in Kingman, on April 19, 1924, a daughter of the late Duncan and Alice (Reed) McKenzie.
She was employed with Hillcrest Poultry and Supreme Slipper Manufacturing Co., was an active member of the Wytopitlock Baptist Church and enjoyed playing cards and bingo.
She is survived by her son, John Irish of Wytopitlock; and her three daughters, Beverly Irish of Lewiston, Donna Bailey and her husband, Paul Bailey, of Bancroft and Kay Worster of Kingman. She also leaves 10 grandchildren, as well as many great-grandchildren.
She was also the mother of the late Ethel Tornberg and Jeanette Chase and the sister of the late Mary Quimby.
