RUMFORD — A spaghetti supper and silent auction fundraiser for Lynn Soucy Richardson will take place at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Rumford Eagles Hall.

Lynn is a Rumford native currently living in Vermont.

Due to her most recent cancer diagnosis, Lynn has been out of work since mid-December 2014.

Money raised will help with the cost of travel for health care.

In 2011 Lynn was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She had a mastectomy and went through chemo and radiation and was finally in remission.

In March 2014 she was diagnosed with metastatic bone cancer. She has been searching for the best treatment with the best quality of life.

The cancer has now spread to her liver and into her spinal fluid.

With this set-back, her only option is to try clinical trials in Boston. There are currently no trials available.

All donations, food for the supper or items for the silent auction are welcomed with much appreciation and thanks.
