LEWISTON — The Meadowview Senior Complex announced upcoming events, including day trips.

The Meadowview Senior Tenant Council will meet for their monthly meeting at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 13, in the recreation hall.

The Meadowview day trip to the Sugar Party in Lac-Megantic, Canada, reached capacity with 56 people. The trip will take place on Sunday, April 12, leaving at 7 a.m. at the Park & Ride parking lot by the entrance of the TurnPike on Lisbon St.

The next trip will see the Drifters perform on Wednesday, June 24, at the Danversport Yacht Club, Danvers, Mass. The Drifters, who had 10 top songs on the pop charts, including “Under the Boardwalk,” “Save the Last Dance for Me” and many others.

Future trips accepting reservations include,

• Saturday, July 25: Foster’s Clam Bake in York. Price includes bus, meal and some shopping.

• Wednesday, Sept 23: The HOBO Train in the New Hampshire Mountains, followed by a stop at the Oxford Casino.

• The Christmas trip and final trip of the season will visit Indian Head resort in Jefferson, N.H., seeing Don Who, with a stop at the Christmas Loaf.

These trips help the Meadowview Tenant Council raise funds to help bring different activities to their recreation hall, such as special events, games and lunches.

Meadowview Senior Complex has more than 150 apartments and is owned by the Lewiston Housing Authority.
