1935 – 2015
LEWISTON — Robert C. Boulet, 79, of 300 Stetson Road, Lewiston, died at his home on Sunday, March 15.
Known to his many friends by his nickname, “Porky,” he was born in Lewiston on March 30, 1935, the son of Robert and Annette Guay Boulet. Educated in local schools, he was a graduate of Lewiston High School, Class of ’55.
On Sept. 15, 1956, he married the love of his life, the former Jeannette J. Asselin of Lewiston.
Trained as an electrician, he owned and operated Maine Wiring for many years. He later owned and operated The Seafood Market on Bartlett Street in Lewiston, and owned several rental properties in Lewiston and Auburn. He was a member of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.
Robert had a lifelong love of harness racing, and owned several horses over the years.
Besides his loving wife of Lewiston, he is survived by two sons, Gary and wife, Joli, of Lewiston, and Greg and wife, Nichole, of Lisbon; a brother, Richard and wife, Celene, of Lewiston; and two grandsons, Bradley and Maxwell.
