GREENWOOD, S.C.—Patricia Hamel, 74, of Abbeville, S.C., passed away on Wednesday, March 11, at the Self Regional Hospital in Greenwood, Ariz.
She was born on June 9, 1941, in New York, N.Y., the daughter of Elizabeth LaFrance and Joseph Cody.
She owned Patricia’s Restaurant of Winthrop until she retired in the 1990s.
Patricia enjoyed cooking and travel.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Hamel Sr.; and her son, Robert Hamel Jr.
She was predeceased by her parents; and stepfather, Edward LaFrance
She will be missed.
