PARIS — Applications are being taken for the Gina Bizier Memorial Pharmacy Scholarship.

They are available at the Oxford Hills School District superintendent’s office, 232 Main St., next to Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. Deadline for submission is June 1.

In 2011, Bob and Barbara Bizier offered scholarships to Oxford Hills high school graduates attending pre-pharmacy or pharmacy programs. It was a tribute to their daughter, an Oxford Hills graduate who became a pharmacist and encouraged others to pursue the career.

To be eligible for the scholarship, persons must be a graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, be majoring in pre-pharmacy or attending a college of pharmacy, and be in good academic standing.
