Seniors cribbage league winners

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at the Lewiston Memorial Armory on March 19 were first, Terry Chambers and Gary David; second, Pat Records and Bob Oliver; third, Joan Pettengill and Trudy Faunce; fourth, Cecile Bussiere and Gil Cote; and fifth, Gene Brown and Don Haley. Sandy Oliver for receiving a 28-point hand.

Easter Candy and Bake Sale in Wayne

WAYNE — The Cary Memorial Library will hold its annual Easter Candy and Bake Sale on the two Saturdays before Easter, March 28 and April 4, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The sale will be at the Williams House, 14 Old Winthrop Road, across from the library.

There will be handmade chocolates and a variety of baked goods. There will also be a table of non-edibles for sale.

Saint Dominic taking survey

AUBURN — Saint Dominic Academy will begin strategic planning effort to ensure that a quality, Catholic education is available by asking community members to take a survey.

The survey is anonymous. Residents are asked answer candidly as the data will be used to form a strategic plan for St. Dom’s over the next three years.

Lewiston class fundraiser Thursday

AUBURN — The Lewiston High School Class of 2016 is holding a Noche Mexicana Fundraiser from 4 to 10 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at Margaritas Mexican Restaurant, 180 Center St. The restaurant will donate 15 percent of each  bill to the class.
