FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours will be held Thursday, April 9, at the Mt. Blue campus.

It will feature a SMART Assets presentation on employee development and the return on investment to help strengthen a business and advance the workforce by supporting employee education.

Networking with other professionals will be from 5 to 6 p.m. with refreshments provided by the Foster Career and Technical Education Center culinary arts students. The SMART Assets seminar is from 6 to 7 p.m.

This Business After Hours is co-hosted by WMCA Career Center Services, Greater Franklin Development Corp. and the Franklin County Community College Network.

Those attending have the opportunity to learn about the Maine Development Foundation’s statewide Next Step Maine Employers’ Initiative — a free initiative designed to support employers in advancing education of their workforce.
