Monday 

Patriot’s Day

Municipal offices and libraries closed. Trash and recyclables will be collected curbside as usual and police, fire and public works will be on duty.

Tuesday 

AUBURN — Special City Council workshop and meeting in the City Council Chamber on the second floor of Auburn Hall. Workshop is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. for review of the capital improvement plan and capital purchases. The regular meeting at 7 p.m. includes a public hearing and vote on the capital improvements bond.

LEWISTON — City Council meeting in the City Council Chamber on the bottom floor of City Hall. Workshop begins at 6 p.m.; regular meeting at 7 p.m.

Wednesday 

AUBURN — School Committee budget workshop and meeting, 5:30 p.m. in Auburn Hall.

LEWISTON — Downtown Neighborhood Action Committee, 6:30 p.m. in the administrator’s conference room on the bottom floor of City Hall.

Thursday 

AUBURN — Regular meeting of the Lewiston-Auburn Joint Charter Commission, 6 p.m. in the City Council Chamber on the second floor of Auburn Hall.

AUBURN — New Auburn Neighborhood Watch organizational meeting, 6 p.m. at The Tailgate Gourmet, 272 South Main St. Police chief Phil Crowell and Lt. Tony Harrington will answer questions and facilitate the conversation.

Friday

AUBURN — Groundbreaking ceremony for the Ingersoll Arena indoor turf facility project, noon, 48 Pettengill Park Road.
