WASHINGTON, D.C. — Lewiston native Angela D. Mickalide, PhD, principal investigator and program director of emergency medical services for Children National Resource Center at Children’s National Health System, has received the 2015 American Burn Association Burn Prevention Award.
Association President David H. Ahrenholz, MD, awarded her the prestigious accolade during the opening plenary at the 47th annual meeting in Chicago on April 22. Mickalide is a master certified health education specialist.
She was born in Lewiston and graduated from Saint Dominic Regional High School in 1975.
