MONMOUTH — Friends of Cumston Library will present the 30th annual Monmouth May Faire from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at Cumston Hall.
The sale will have annuals from Gingerbread Farms, vegetable seedlings from the Henry L. Cottrell Elementary School greenhouse, antiques and collectibles from the Monmouth Museum, a used book sale, burgers and dogs from the Monmouth Junior Fire Department, lobster rolls from the Friends of Cumston Library, and a bake sale from the United Church of Monmouth.
The Monmouth Garden Club will be present to answer any questions and provide any information a novice or avid gardener should need.
Free activities for children will include Touch-a-Truck with the Monmouth Fire Department, planting seeds with the Monmouth Garden Club, mask and noisemaker making at 11 a.m., the Precious Plants Parade at noon and a performance of “The True Story of Little Red” presented by the Theatre at Monmouth at 1 p.m.
Profits go to supporting The Friends of Cumston Library. New members are welcome.
