Twelve volunteers at the Dempsey Center were presented with the Governor’s Award for Service and Volunteerism at a recent Volunteer Recognition celebration. Volunteers give their time to the Dempsey Center through the creation of handmade comfort items, helping with center operations, volunteering for the annual Dempsey Challenge and performing countless other duties every day.
