Pinewood Terrace accepting items for yard sale

FARMINGTON — Pinewood Terrace will hold its annual yard sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 13, at 136 Rosewood Drive.

Proceeds will benefit resident activities.

The assisted living facility is also accepting gently used items for the sale.

Daisy Girl Scouts holding sign up, flower party

PARIS — Daisy Girl Scouts will welcome new girls at its flower party and sign up at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, at the Haskell House on East Main Street.

The flower party will explore traditions and teach what being a Girl Scout means. Each girl can also make her first swap.

The Daisies are the youngest girl scout members with girls in kindergarten and first grade in the fall. Becoming a Daisy is free, and the program will teach girls about helping the community, will give new adventures and offer a setting to make friends.

Founder’s Day accepting vendor applications

PARIS — The Hamlin Memorial Library and Museum is accepting vendor applications for the 37th Annual Founder’s Day, which will take place on Saturday, July 18.

The cost for a 20-foot by 20-foot space is $40 if reserved prior to Thursday, June 18. After June 18, the fee will increase to $50.
