JAY — The Spruce Mountain summer recreation program for students entering grades 1-8 will be held from June 22 to July 31 this year. The program will take place from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Thursday and from 9 a.m.-noon on Fridays.

The six-week program will offer supervised fun for all students entering grades 1-8. There are a number of exciting trips and fun days planned for them again this year. Themed dress up days are scheduled for most Fridays with prizes awarded.

Students will meet in the former Livermore Falls High School cafeteria every morning. They will be served breakfast and lunch everyday free of charge. The program will again be coordinating with Dixie Bonnevie to offer many different activities such as Art, Band and Science Camp days.

If interested in sending your child or children to summer rec, completed registration forms must be sent to the Livermore Falls or Jay Town Office by June 19th. Do not return them to the schools.

Program director Sally Boivin said, “I need to have an idea of how many kids will be attending, so I can hire the appropriate number of counselors. T-shirts can be ordered also, and I ask that kids wear them on field trips.”

The daily schedule will be:
