AUBURN – The Auburn Public Library will welcome author Robert W. Chapman Monday, March 12, to discuss his book, “A Certain Fall.” Chapman uses depth of knowledge and experience working with children in crisis to tell this finely crafted story of the life-long struggle to survive child abuse.

Set in Maine in the 1950 and ’60s, the novel is both a compassionate look at a childhood lost to the sorrow of child abuse and a testament to the courage and resiliency of the human spirit.

“A Certain Fall” is being made into a movie by award-winning and independent film maker Caleb Crosby.

Chapman lives on Range Pond. This is his first book.

The presentation at 6:30 p.m. is a part of the Annie Prescott Discussion Series and co-sponsored by Percy Books in Lewiston. For more information, call the library at 333-6640.
