LEWISTON — L/A Arts will celebrate the second installment of its summer monthly Art Walk for June from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, June 26, on Lisbon Street. Each final Friday evening of the month from May to September, downtown Lewiston is turned into an arts district.

For June, L/A Arts has over 20 studio artists whose work it curates in multiple venues along Lisbon Street and the surrounding areas.

This month entertainment will be two musical acts that are able to stand on their own reputation: The Juke Joint Devils and the Maine Marimbas Ensemble.

Art Walk features a full website, which highlights each evening’s events and an artist catalogue of work at www.artwalklewistonauburn.com.

Again this year L/A Arts encourages Art Walk patrons to not only support local visual artists by coming to see their work, but also to purchase. The money will go directly to the artists.

An Art Walk Paint Party will be held at Dufresne Plaza, Lisbon Street. Callahan Hall, Lewiston Public Library, is the rain location.
