LEWISTON — Lewiston Municipal Federal Credit Union awarded two scholarships to local students. 

Ethan R. Cailler has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship by Lewiston Municipal Federal Credit Union, on behalf of the membership. He is the son of Richard and Lisa Cailler.

While attending Poland Regional High School, Cailler participated in varsity baseball, varsity hockey, varsity soccer and was part of the National Honor Society. He will be attending Maine Maritime Academy in the fall, pursuing a degree in marine systems engineering.

Alex Miles has also been awarded a $1,000 scholarship by Lewiston Municipal Federal Credit Union. He is the son of Tallus and Anita Miles.

While attending Lewiston High School, Miles participated in the National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society and the swim team. He will attend Husson University in the fall, pursuing a degree in audio engineering/production.
