BRIDGTON — Art in the Park will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, at Shorey Park on Main Street.
The park will be filled with fine artists and artisans selling original paintings, pottery, jewelry, wood work, fiber arts, photography and more. Attendees can spend hours looking at the art, eating food provided by St. Peter’s Episcopal Church and listening to live music by Brad Hooper, A Bunch of Old Hippies and Skylark Ensemble. Local nonprofit organizations including Deertrees Theatre, Lakeside Garden Club and the Rufus Porter Museum will also have booths.
Prizes will be awarded in two-dimensional art, three-dimensional art and photography. Many artists return year after year and are more than happy to talk with those who show an interest in purchasing their art. The Art in the Park event raises funds to support Gallery 302 and the Bridgton Art Guild.
