HARRISON – For the second year running, Maine-based folk trio The Dave Rowe Trio will release a new CD at a concert at Deertrees Theatre. This release is set for 8 p.m. Saturday, July 8. The CD, on the Outer Green Records label, is called “The Good Life” and will be available at the event.

It has been available over the past month on the shelves of The Good Life Market on Route 302 in Raymond, where the trio will do a CD signing at 9:30 a.m. the same day.

The CD, the third trio release in as many years, comprises much original music by Rowe including favorites “Home,” and “Family Portrait,” as well as original fiddle tunes by Edward Howe, a traditional bluegrass tune, and a cover of Chuck Kruger’s song “Back to Maine.”

The Dave Rowe Trio is Rowe on guitar and vocals, Howe on fiddle and vocals, and Kevin O’Reilly on bass guitar and vocals.
